24 Days of Turtle: Day 22 (Joyeux Noël)

This holiday season, Santa is coming to the sewers! 24 Days of Turtle is a countdown until Christmas guaranteed to make you merry. From December 1st through 24th, this advent calendar will shell out 24 different TMNT Holiday-themed treats. Each day will offer something new, something ninja.

DAY 22: JOYEUX NOËL

My life is a juggling act. I’m constantly battling against growing up, but at the same time, find myself diving deeper into the adult existence. I want all those perks of being older, but don’t want to lose my child-like affection towards fun.

This holiday season, I’m attempting to fuse the two together.

ADULT LIFE:

In December of 2011, my girlfriend and I took a trip to Paris. C'était magnifique! The place was packed with Christmas festivities – very romantic for two lovebirds. Like everyone on a vacation, I wanted a souvenir.

KID LIFE:

Being master of The Sewer Den, I was on the hunt for a French-inspired TMNT souvenir. I returned to the United States – empty-handed. Luckily, I was able to purchase this drinking glass over the internet. Our beloved mutants may look the same, but do you detect an accent?

Tortues Ninja! The TMNT logo is in French - cheers to that! I consider this my semi-souvenir from the Paris trip.

THE MUTATION:

The Tortues Ninja glass provides the ultimate opportunity for my adult and child lives to collide. How?

Eggnog, folks! The festive beverage for an adult presented in a glass intended for kids. Delicious and decorative. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can’t sip this over the holidays, but I certainly can.

Bottoms up to Christmas spirits! Joyeux Noël, dudes!

Make sure to return tomorrow for Day 23 of 24 Days of Turtle!

  1. Nothing ever wrong with combing adult and child aspects together. Makes life all the more fun. :)

A very unique design for this, an awesome post-souvenir to get, and something new to add to your collection. C'est bien!

  2. Are they made of glass... because if so that makes it 1000 times cooler.

Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.
